night at grandmas

When I was a young girl, I used to get to spend the night with my grandmama. Spending the night with my grandma was quite a treat.  My grandma lived across the field.  It was a looong loooong way. I would never walk that path at night. There were real live coyotes who were waiting just for me.  The path was well worn, no weeds or chico bushes or anything.  If it started to get too dark grandma would get out her flashlight and shine it down the path to lead my way. I received an e-mail from my mom a while ago and this email was sent to him by my brother on a mission right now assigned in Bacolod, Philippines mission. and the e-mail goes like this:

Memorial

I wanted to write a memorial for this great man, President Hinckley.  He has been an inspiration and a well beloved leader of the church for a very long time.  I am honestly very sorry to see him go, and will mourne his passing.  May his memory live on, his works and words continue to touch the lives and hearts of those around him, and his family and friends be comforted in their hour of need.  My prayers are with you all.
