Ever done any soap carving?  My experience taught me that opportunity is in dwindling supply, and there should be some sense of urgency behind capturing a vision of what you want to do and become, and then working on it.

Alma defined faith as a hope for things which are not seen, but which are true (Alma 32:21). Paul refers to it as the actual substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen (Hebrews 11:1). These two definitions of the first principle of the Gospel differ in several ways, thus giving us a broader understanding of the principle. We all pass through experiences which shape our lives in different ways, so our definitions of faith will vary. And that is a wonderful thing.

I recently was thinking back on a song called when you believe.  I love that song.  The main theme is that there can be miracles when you believe.  That is such a true message in life.  Maybe things will not always go as planned, maybe the darkness will fall in life, death will come, tears will fall, wars may ensue, natural disasters happen, but there will always be one thing that no one can ever take away.  That is the mess...
