Section 8-Revelation is Great

While studying the Old Testament, the book of Exodus, I discovered some interesting insights on revelation.

In Section 8 of the Doctrine and Covenants the Lord instructs us on how we will recieve revelation by referencing the parting of the Red Sea.

Learning the Mysteries of God

Staying in tune

We cannot succumb to perpetual procrastination of spiritual preparedness. 


I believe the diligence and vigilance we assert to stay dialed in will reap its rewards upon us many fold as we endeavor to live the life of a latter day saint.

Accusation:
Mormon’s say that feelings signify the holy Ghost is telling you something is true. This is not biblical.

Response:
Proof-texting is the term used for “proving” something by supporting your stance with “authoritative” quotes; e.g., God loved the world for “God so loved the world” (John 3:16).
