I remember a time when I was little when my family and I went through a tornado. What struck me the most till this day is just how quiet everything was before it hit. Someone reminded me recently that there is new hope to be found even when it seems all hope is lost. I went to a funeral yesterday to say goodbye to an old friend, followed by a wedding, an new beginning in life. Someone once taught me a valuable lesson about birds. Birds when they first start to fledge, often try to jump from the nest or any other object they can to try to fly. Often they fall on their beak and sometimes even get hurt. Yet they always keep getting up and trying to fly even after a fall until they get it right.
