2009 will be fine.

I have hope that it will be. Even as it is only the second day of this new year, I have found both justice and mercy.  2008 was miserable. Although many good things happened, meeting new friends, sunshine, love and the gospel knowledge gained ( I read through the Book of Mormon on my own for the first time) it seems to me that we all had over our share of burdens, trauma and pain. In the most recent General Conference, Elder Wirthlin gave a talk titled, "Come What May and Love it."  I loved this talk.  It reminded me that life is not just to be endured, but enjoyed.  There are so many trials and hurdles in life but we must not give up!  In order to do this, we must be filled with hope.  hope that everything will work out right; hope that God is in control; hope in Christ's atonement.  We must be happy, rely upon the Savior and make the most o... I decided to write all the things I am thankful for this year.

I am thankful for my family, for the love and support they give me.

I am thankful for my kids, I love them a lot and pray for them always.

I am thankful for the small things in life that brighten my day.
