Recently, I wrote about a friend a made on lds.net who joined the Church a while ago, but was driven out by her mother (of another faith). She always retained a deep (though tender) testimony of the truthfulness of the gospel. She contacted me through lds.net and my blog (Truth is Restored) and asked me many questions about the Church and it’s teachings. I have been following her progress and steps backs towards the Church. Earlier this week, I had been thinking about how she was... Read More
Je te rends grâce, Seigneur, pour toutes les occasions que tu me donnes de rendre mon témoignage que tu vis et que ton amour est infini. One of her first messages shared her past history with the Church (I have quoted it mostly word for word): “Hi Rusty. Thank you so much for answering my qu... Read More
ACCUSATION: It's now been proven that the Book of Abraham was basically made up by joseph Smith. It's my understanding (and the church seems to be agreeing it's a false hood), that he "translated" ancient text off of old scrolls, now, more then a century later those translations have been proven to be completely false. So... How do you believe the BoM? RESPONSE: Thanks for asking me this question. I haven’t seen this criticism in a while. It’s an old... Read More
