This word has a really powerful meaning, when I think of commitment, a whole set of words come to my mind; responsibility, steadfast. I'm still unemployed. 15 months. Amazing. I've come really close to being hired many times, it's been between me and two others on numerous occasions, but I just don't get picked. So why is that? About a month ago I ordered some prints from http://www.ldscatalog.com/ . The prints I bought were only one dollar each and were 11X17. It was very enjoyable being on the site and looking at all the choices I had. I ended up buying 15 or so prints from the Book of Mormon and New Testament. Last Thursday while I was in my Doctrine and Covenants class we were discussing the social conditions of women when D&C section 25 was revealed through Joseph Smith (1830). Woman, in general, were treated very poorly by today's standards, none were allowed to vote, and any position that would put a woman in authority over a man was prohibited.
