Learning from the Past
Posted On 06/03/2008 10:26:35 by PapilioMemnon
King Mosiah really teaches us how to learn from the past in this chapter, and "and to look forward to do what will bring us peace..."
Even though he's speaking about choosing leaders to govern over the people, the principle is the same and can be applied to many different areas & circumstances of our lives. He teaches us about people, to look back and learn from our experiences with people, situations, and especially our choices (Something we have direct control over), to analyze those t... Read More

Feeling alone
Posted On 05/30/2008 09:13:00 by book_worm
Some times I feel so alone, I feel like the world is coming down on me and I don't have any one I can count on to be there for me. Yet every once in a blue moon he actually seems to do something right. Like when he secured the county as a client over baby back ribs at Chili's... much to th... Read More

Posted On 05/02/2008 08:30:43 by SharonCool
Being raised in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, I attended my meetings, I was reverent, chaste, and tried to do what was right, and was married in the temple. After having my 8th child, I was asked to be the Spiritual Leader in Relief Society, and teach a lesson once a month. I thoroughly loved the calling, but when I was to give a lesson on the truthfulness of the Book of Mormon, I hit a snag. In the lesson it told me to bare my witness that the Book of Mormon was true. I t... Read More
