Today has been a very special day for the whole family. Today was the day my baby boy was presented to the Lord for a name and a blessing. These are one of those many milestones a mother clings to with all her might, cause before you know it, the day is done. After the big lunch with the whole family and dishes are washed and children are curling up to sleep, I will be left alone with this special spirit, to gaze at him as I ponder on the day and the words spoken. McKay, “True to the Faith,” p.32) &nb... Read More
This is one of my most favorite hymns by the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. It was such a comfort to me as, last week, I went through a six day hospital stay for cancer surgery. It is so amazing what you can go through with God with you! "Here's my heart, Lord, oh take and seal it, seal it for the courts above!" God's Grace is ALL I ever need. Come, thou Fount of every blessing, tune my heart to sing thy grace; streams of mercy, never ceasing, call for songs of loudest praise. Teach me so... Read More
