The Lost 116 Pages

              Doctrine and Covenants section three and five were given in response to Joseph smith and Martin Harris losing the first 116 translated pages of the Book of Mormon. Martin Harris wanted to take the pages home to his wife hoping that she would then believe that they were indeed ancient scriptures sent from God. I am a member of the church of JESUS CHRIST OF LATER DAY SAINTS.I have been a member since 1977.I am sealed to my husband .I have four children and six grandchildren.I live in west virginia . End of my D&C class

Today was the last day of my Doctrine and Covenants class and I am sad that it is ending.  I am suprised at how much I did not know about a book that I consider scripture and the prophet to whom the revelations were given.  There probably still is much I am unawhere of but hopefully I will continue to learn more and more as I continue my own study of the scriptures.  That is for the best, it is good that a man should continue to learn throughout his life, and that is precisely...
