Temple Square

This past weekend, my dad and my baby sister came down to visit.  I was so glad they did.  We were in Salt Lake City on Saturday and my dad wanted to go visit temple square.  So he, my sister, my brother, and I all went.  It was so nice.  I love how when I am inside those gates separating the city from the temple, there is such a feeling of peace, even though the city is always bustling and busy with construction and such.

My boyfriend thinks that I am overly feminist.  I hope not.  I enjoy being capable and allowed to do just about anything that I want to do in today's society.  I am grateful that I was born into such a time.   And I love the place of honor and equality that women hold within the church within the church.   This is a topic that comes up in Dr. Holzapfel's classes often.  I think it is very interesting that LDS women enjoyed so much freedom and such a respec...
