Draper Temple
Posted On 03/14/2009 12:16:30 by samanthahiatt

This week I finally had the opportunity to go to the Draper temple open house.  It was such a magnificent experience.  What a beautiful place.  I really wish that I had brought a friend with me who was not a member of the church.  The introducing video was a wonderful way to bring the Spirit and explain the purposes of the temple to those who do not know.

This past weekend, my dad and my baby sister came down to visit.  I was so glad they did.  We were in Salt Lake City on Saturday and my dad wanted to go visit temple square.  So he, my sister, my brother, and I all went.  It was so nice.  I love how when I am inside those gates separating the city from the temple, there is such a feeling of peace, even though the city is always bustling and busy with construction and such.

The visitor's cente... Read More
