In Hebrews chapter 10 Paul discusses how through Jesus' death there isn't a need for temple ordinances anymore.

I had the opportunity to go the temple with my husband on Friday night and it was magnificent. We were both very tired and we decided an endowment session might not be the best choice for us, so we decided to do initiatories intead, which we had not done in more than 1 year. Through some stroke of luck, my class was cancelled and my wife didn't have to go to her student teaching today. We decided to make the most of the time we had together and we headed for the Temple.
