Draper Temple

This week I finally had the opportunity to go to the Draper Temple open house.  It was such a magnificent experience.  What a beautiful place.  I really wish that I had brought a friend with me who was not a member of the church.  The introducing video was a wonderful way to bring the Spirit and explain the purposes of the temple to those who do not know.

Building Temples

I am going to make this short and sweet; I've been writing all day.

I've been reading the really long section 124 in the Doctrine and Covenants over the last week.  In this revelation, the Lord is commanding that the Saints build a temple.  The temple is a place where the Saints can make covenants and receive further revelation.

This weekend is Stake Conference, the first under our new stake president. Last nights adult session was one of the most powerful I have attended in sometime.
