Seeds in the heart

I looked out the window and realized this morning it is almost spring and planting time.  There is so much to get done this time of the year.  The beds need prepped, soil amendments need to be bought and added in, bulbs need to be put in the ground, and I need to decide what kinds of plants I wish to put into the ground.  I think Heavenly father reminds us every so often it is time to start preparing things in life.  Just like planting a garden, he tills the fertile soil of... Isn't it awesome that even though we may disagree about things like politics and social things. That we are members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints can always agree about the important things? Things like a belief in our Father in Heaven and our Savior Jesus Christ. That Joseph Smith is a prophet of God and he restored Christ's gospel to the earth again. That we are lead by  prophet today, even Thomas S. Monson. That the Book of Mormon is true! THe Church is True

I've been in the church from Primary days but was baptized in the age of 13. I love the church. The teaching of principles are really the best ever...President Joseph Smith once said " I teach them Correct Principles and they govern themselves". THere is no such pressure in the church in doing what is right but rather an understanding of how important voluntary action and how we feel our own accountability of each decision we make. I have spent some time developing a site for blogging about the church. My intention was to start up a site where many different views and opinions about the church and the different misnomers, misconceptions and other items could be identified and brought to light, in order to make some sense in a world of confusing ideas about the church.
