missionary work
Posted On 10/03/2008 08:06:14 by Yellowhill
We have our work cut out for us, my friend John Henry Wednesday night accepted the date of October 18th to be baptized. He has ask me to do it. What a thrill for me it is to be able to help bring our brothers and sisters to God's Kingdom. The Holy Spirit not only whispers into my ear, but pushes me past what I thought I could do. Helping the down trodden, helping anyone that has ears to listen, and just as important listening to them share what is going on in their life. Loving Heavenly Father's... Read More

During the beginning of the fall semester in my doctrine and covenants religion class at Brigham Young University we briefly went over section 4, which talks about how we serve God and how we are qualified to serve Him.

And he caused that the priests should assemble themselves together; and they began to fast, and to pray to the Lord their God... Read More

The last leg of my greyhound trip!
Posted On 07/27/2008 07:52:48 by wsvirtue
I am so ready to get this trip over with! Last night was the best part of my trip thus far. I had a seat to myself, it was quiet, and I didn't sweat. I have to say that this trip was a good one because I had some really good missionary experiences. The one I wrote about in the begining of this trip was powerful. Then there was Emily, a 23 year old that has been on the wrong path. She recently found out that she needs a heart transplant. Her mom passed away a few years ago and her dad doesn't sho...
