LOL too funny! I love my dog too.. and some days it is nice to have someone around that does everything you ask in return for love and the occasional dog buiscuit. I still love my kids though too, even on the off days. I have been working on my geneology for six years now and have a stack of geneology that I fear I may never finish myself. It is a lot of work, but so much fun too. I love it. It is a lot of fun working with the kids on the geneology too, especially when they find something. My calling is as the regional singles rep advertizing specialist, and as the sixth ward singles rep, so I often am running a lot on those callings. I still love to work on the geneology though. Best of blessings again,

"and some days it is nice to have someone around that does everything

Just remember FH is never done... so just press on and do the best you can.  I have to remember that as well because I have a tendency to be a little obsessive/compulsive about it. lol  Oh yeah, and on my previous post I meant I CAN'T find a cure!  lol

In grand fashion it looks as if the Lord has been keeping you busy in His work. What better way to spend your time!

I saw what you said about Nick and the kids, and I had to laugh. Kids do always do that somehow even though they are all loved the same. Ps... there is nothing nerdy about doing geneology, I think everyone who gets bit by it has all kinds of fun in the library and research part, especially when you find those fun little stories in the ancestry....so smile and have fun anyway!

It is nice to meet you and wishing you all the best of blessings.

Aurorasungem,

It is so nice to be your friend.  Yes, I have been bitten by the genealogy bug and can be cured!  lol  My husband is the executive secretary in our stake YSA Branch and so that means I get to tagalong.  Consequently I was called to serve as the FH consultant for the branch. (well, I guess I might have volunteered for it as well! lol)  It is so great to have about 8 YA's all searching for their ancestry in our FH library each Sunday in class.  I know we are in good hands as a church when I see the future leaders engage in this sort of great work.  They rock!

BTW there are days when Nick is my favorite!  lol
