Thank you for visiting my page and for your kind comments. I love the movie "On The Other Side Of Heaven" and I agree that they did a good job with it. I have actually met Elder John H. Groberg of whom the movie is about. I was selected to be a part of a 30 minute audience with him when he visited our Ward in Annapolis a few years ago.

Rockhounding is where you go search for minerals, gems and/or fossils out in the wilderness where they are legally found.

Sorry I misunderstood the word!  LOL  We love rocks, gems, fossils, etc. Used to collect trillibites in Newfoundland and we get ferrystones here in VA --very cool!  There is a state park where they are most often found here.  Mom brings back rocks from everywhere she visits (India, Israel) and where there are different looking minerals.

We should be having the cattle arrive this afternoon, I think.  My kids are becoming full farm kids--they will be milking in a month or two.  The "littles" (my 3 youngest) sell their colored eggs all over the place and love educating others about the breeds that produce certain colored eggs.

I'll be blogging more this summer when school is out for me.

Take care!

Karen

Hi Aurora--

glad you like the blogs.  The "cuppycake" were soooo much fun!  What is roundhounding?

We are adding cattle to our farm--that will be the next blog.  We are getting a breeding pair of Scottish Highland Cattle and the heffer is expecting in a month or so.  Everyone is soooo excited!  :O)

How is school going?  I am losing my mind with papers and projects all due now at the end of the semester...one paper is going to end up 20-25 pages---augh!

Hugs-

Karen
