Hi it is great 2 see another person who loves Gods animal Kingdom as myself. i did animal rescue for 3 years a saved heaps of litters of kittens then finding good responsible homes. had to give it up as it got too emotional as they did not want to leave me and would cling to me crying. But i did love it and i had 33 cats of my own only 7 left and now i have been Blessed 2 have 6 ring-necked turtle doves in myy garden with 2 babies nearly ready to leave the nest and i am so blessed as the are a spiritual symbol of love and peace and i have the mother today eating seed from my hand and what a joy i felt . animals are so special and they are my salvation and have been all of my life when people have let me down they have always been there for me. GOD BLESS YOU FOR YOUR DEVOTION AND LOVE TO GODS ANIMAL KINGDOM

Thanks for the avatar comment! I'm an animal lover too! I think that its great that you are saving some of these poor animals in the shelter by adopting them! I'm hoping to get a dog from the shelter this next year too!

Hi TG!

You're right! We do love the same music. In fact, I forgot to put "Purple Rain," and Aretha Franklin!

I used to be very country, in fact I was "Country before Country Was Cool!" I'm not kidding--I used to go see Merle Haggard, the Statler Bros, and others in concert, and always had a blast. Of course, I was in my early twenties, and I was HOT! So, it was a good way to meet some REAL cowboys!

I got all excited when you said you love Travis Tritt...I always wonder what happened to him.

Also, Achy Breaky Heart" came on when I opened your profile, and OMG, did I have a flashback! lol   I can't tell you about it, but. . . "Oh, my. . .. "

After 9/11, I had to stop listening to it. You've probably realized by now I'm a bit of a pacifist, and I couldn't handle the "Boot in your *Butt* (not right word, but you know what I mean.)

I would love to have seen Patsy Cline . . . I just love her music!

Thanks for visiting my page and boosting my views...I am now at 19004!

I am really glad you're on the board, TG, as I enjoy your posts so much!

And thanks again for the welcome! :)

(I wish there was an Edit feature so that I could have just added this in to my below post)

"Big Dawg" was my call sign during football, and has remained a nickname for me ever since. I'm a big guy (6'3" and weigh around 300 pounds). What can I say? :P
