Okay. I reread it after sleeping. lol. All I had to do was change the tone in my head and suddenly the sarcasm is gone. XD

No no...not at all.  This is a great converstion.  I understood agnosticism to mean not only that an individual did not know God, but that God was unknowable by us.  If I'm right, then is it not true or false that we can know God?

If you are agnostic you can believe believe that there can be a higher power. The only thing is we just need something to convince us one way or another. I have actually been very confused lately but I know that some things are true. I know some things are false, but not enough to have faith in any religion, or live my life in preparation of death.

Agnosticism can't be true of false. It is admitting to a lack of knowledge to understand clearly one way or the other.

That experience I outlined in that thread was a very significant one for me and I wanted to know if it was an actual Mormon belief or if for some reason the bishops son was misguided.

If I offended you in some way I apologize.

I just read your response to my blog from nearly a year ago!  LOL!  It was about relying on the Holy Spirit.  You probably do not remember what you wrote, but the words were kind, sincere and strong.  Thank you for your quiet but friendly presence at this site.  God bless you real good!  PC

Thanks for dropping by. My pretend adopted son joined the Marines and is getting baptized......Christian. I'm not sure what that means. He'll be staying at our home when he first gets home from boot camp next month so I'll hear more. I thought I'd ask how that works in the military. Is it a general type Christian baptism? A dunking (as we irreverently call it) or a sprinkling? I'm just curious til I get to talk to him. I'm so excited that he desires to follow Christ! He's really, really had a hard life. He's ready for a healing!
