Dear Louise-Ruth,

I absolutely love this poem.  I even put it into one of my photo albums along with a picture I'd taken of two dirt roads diverging in a wooded area.  Robert Frost has some others I like, too.  Another favorite is called Two Tramps In Muddtime.

Well, Danny and I are on our way to church.  We're having a special Visiting Teaching Conference today and have to get the nursery lesson taught early so the priesthood brethren will be o.k. to take over during Relief Society.

     Talk to you later.

Hello PeaceRoseRest , I hope you are well.

The Road Not Taken - Frost

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveller, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;
Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,
And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.
I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I--
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

Wow!  This is great!  I haven't been to your page for a while.  You've really made a lot of changes.

Thanks for the video clip.  I'm thinking about adding it to my page.  Haven't made up my mind yet.

Yes, I am very ready for Spring and (wouldn't you just guess) we got another 10 inches of fresh snow....LOL  I'm not feeling at all prepared for it.  Too much shoveling because the driveway is so long.

Have a wonderful and blessed Sabboth!

Heart Gifts

It's not the things that can be bought
that are life's richest treasure,
It's just the little
"heart gifts"
that money cannot measure...
A cheerful smile, a friendly word,
a sympathetic nod
Are priceless little treasures
from the storehouse
of our God...
They are the things that can't be bought
with silver or with gold,
For thoughtfulness and kindness
and love are never sold...
They are the priceless things in life
for which no one can pay,
And the giver finds rich recompense
In giving them away.

~Helen Steiner

Dear Louise-Ruth,

What a lovely poem.  I think I'll add that one to my collection.  Thank you very much!

I just added a new YouTube video to my lds.net page.  Have you ever seen the Kings Firecrackers perform?  Well, they're absolutely wonderful.  For some very "high energy" entertainment, take a look!
