What a great experience! As a new convert myself, my discovery-or should I say--the truth found me! :) I felt like the "lost sheep"-jesus christ is gathering his sheep....I receive such great revelations of this gospel! I know it to be true! Thank You so much for sharing your story.....it strengthened my testimony!

Hi there I'm Pete from England, and like you I am a convert to the LDS, I gave my heart to Jesus when I was 17, and in the army.  after I levt the military, I joined a Baptist church where I stayed for over 3 years, before joining the Elim church wehre I met my first wife,  we had 3 daughters, and a son.  however things didn't work out and we were divorced.

I met my second wife in a chtuch called "the Jesus Army" which was a community church, they have community houses,.  My second wife and I had a daughter, and broke up because she became very violent.

I then got involved with anouther lady and we were together for 4 years, and have a wonderful son called Robert,   once he was born we seemed to drift apart and seperated slmost three and a half years ago now.

I wotk in a supermarket, as a cahieer, and i enjoy talking to the customers, last year I got talking to one young lady, who told me that she was a member of the LDS,  I  was sceptical about this after everything I had heard, but we started going out together on 9 April and were married on 5 September last year.  I have found that the book of Mormon has answered many of the questions that I have had over the years and we are looking forward to going to the temple on 30 may when I will be getting endowed, and we will be sealed together for all eternity.    Pete
