If you're afraid to come out of your shell, consider the light inside that you have to offer the world. If you're afraid of what people think, you will never be able to touch those who are in need of what YOU have to offer and you will never realize your full strength and potential.

Right now, fitness is a main hobby. It is where I get satisfaction in life and also from helping others become healthy and fit.

I enjoy singing and was also a base singer in the Melchizedek Priesthood Choir in the October 2006 Priesthood Session of General Conference. Sitting in the choir seats by the large organ pipes in the Conference Center was an experience I'll never forget. The entire building is an architectural wonder.

I also write poetry/verse, I enjoy designing/drawing/illustrating, writing fiction, fishing, camping, hiking, climbing, rappelling, fitness, weightlifting, mixed martial arts...

One hobby is building artifacts from the Book of Mormon. I am currently studying the Liahona and have now finished building one (see my thread HERE) based on all data and information from the BoM, JSH, FARMS, etc. It's a fun little project that has taught me a lot about how the Lord teaches us things.

I STAND ALL AMAZED

In a nutshell:

I am an adoptive father of two full grown boys. 2011 will mark my twentieth year wedding anniversary. I spend much of my free time studying in depth the Book of Mormon, especially First and Second Nephi. I also spend a lot of time studying the life and teachings of Jesus Christ and am beginning to make a serious study of the book of Isaiah.

I grew up with Star Wars. Saw the first one in the theater when I was a boy. There was nothing like it back then. Not much like it today either.

I loved the entire series, have always been big into the video games as well. I remember as a kid they were doing replays in the theater again for some reason. My dad bought us tickets to one movie and we snuck in to watch Starwars instead and from that moment on I was hooked.

Sad that Disney bought out Lucasfilms though, I have a feeling they will ruin the franchise. =

Hi, just spent some time on your profile, looks pretty cool.  I enjoy historical artifacts as well.  I have heard that archeologists have recently found a home in Bethleham that dates back to the New Testament times.  It amazes me how these cities and everything the Bible talks about still exists today.  We can get on a plane and travel to Jerusalem,Bethleham,The red sea, etc.  We have copies of the Dead Sea Scrolls.  Very exciting.  I was just curiouse what the "liahona" is that your studying?  Have never heard of that.  Is that a ancient artifact?  Have a great new year. Many Blessings to you.
