I belonged to a book club with Relief Society about a year ago. I really loved reading books suggested. I remember what they were about, but I do not remember the titles. One was about an LDS man who was in Russia as a spy. I think it was called "Train to Potevka." The other one that had a great impact on me was "The Hiding Place." This was about a Christian family who was involved in the underground hiding Jews in Holland during WWII.

I love music. My least favorite is country, but I even like some of that. Josh Groban has to be one of my favorite artists at the moment. I also saw a concert of Celtic Woman last year, and they are awesome!

Anything funny or romantic. I also really love inspiring true-life stories like "Rudy," "Radio," etc.

I love the Spanish language. I have pretty much self-taught myself. I enjoy reading novels written in Spanish. I'm a very slow speaker, but I love when I have the opportunity to use it. I love aerobic dance classes, music, theater, and playing with/reading to my grandchildren.

I've been married to my sweetheart for over 31 years. We have 4 grown children, 3 boys and 1 girl. They have brought into our family wonderful in-law children and now grandchildren. We moved to New England a few months ago and are sure loving it here! I was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. It is where I was introduced to the LDS church. My family all were baptized in 1971. My 3 sons have served missions to Chile, Ecuador, and Argentina.
