Things have been a bit chilly around our area.  We got dumped on with snow and then had a power outage.  The power's back up now.  Makes one grateful for the simple things in life - like electricity, running water and heat .

Dear taytay17,


     This is such an old message.  It would seem you really haven't been on line for a looong while.  LOL


     We're doing all right here.  My brothers family have moved in with us for a while - until their own home sells and they're able to find another one.  The kids are all very young and active.  My parents dog is really loving the attention they lavish on him.  Max is a very friendly miniature American Eskimo.  I'm getting a kick out of watching Steven (the youngest boy) at the moment.  He's sitting upside down on the bench swing and Max is laying on his stomach.  LOL 


     We haven't gotten  much rain around here for a while.  I'm praying we'll get some soon.   The grass is looking fairly brittle and the leaves are turning color and falling from the trees.  Not a good sign for the middle of August.


     So, are you headed back to school soon or are you already there?  Rose_Dolls said she started school a week ago yesterday.  She was glad about it.  She's like my niece, Vanessa, who just loves school and reading, etc.  Vanessa actually cried one year when school let out for summer vacation.  What a character.  LOL
