¿Qué tal? I'm the JoshMeister, best known for my Mac geekery, LOST bloggy-podcastiness, and Latter-day Saintliness (not necessarily in that order). I speak English y español, and I'm learning Deutsch.

I was raised in the Baptist faith, and as I grew up I always knew that the Bible was true and that Jesus Christ is my Savior. When I was 16, I began investigating The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and eventually came to know through careful research, study, and prayer, and by the power of the Holy Ghost, that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is in reality the restored Church of Jesus Christ. I was baptized and became a member of the Church a few months before my 19th birthday. About a year later I decided to serve a mission so that I could have the privilege of sharing with others the joy that I had found in the gospel. I was called to serve in the New York Rochester Mission as a Spanish-speaking missionary (which meant I had to learn Spanish). Shortly after returning home from New York, I turned 22, and 6 months later I married my sweetheart who had introduced me to the Church years earlier. While I was in New York, she served a mission in Venezuela, where she also spoke the Spanish language. I, my wife, and our growing family reside in Southern California.

Aside from the gospel and my family, my main interests include computers (in particular Macs, although I also use Windows and Linux), computer security, and virus and spyware research. I have earned three degrees in computer-related fields as well as a computer networking certification. Another interest of mine is the television show LOST, which is a fascinating show with a very in-depth plot. I blog and podcast about LOST, computer technology, and religion (see below for links).

Bah!  People are just afraid to admit his musical genius!
