Hey, Berean!

How are things going for you this evening?  We take it you've been quite busy lately or perhaps on vacation.

Hope all is well for you.  Hope to hear from you soon.

Hey, Berean!

How are you this evening?  Things here are going just fine.  We've had a busy couple of weeks with family in town.  One brother and his family came up from North Carolina, and the other (also with his family) came up from Florida.  The kids also had a very busy two weeks while they were here.  Of course, all the family members who live in this area wanted them to come visit with them, and they also went to see a number of sites in the city.  The kids were worn out by the time it was all over.  I think they'll actually be glad to get home and sleep in their own little beds again.

Take care and have a great weekend!

Dear Berean,

Just stopping by to say Happy Easter!  We're having a glorious day here and hope you are enjoying the same.

Did you have a chance to watch General Conference last week?  It really was just wonderful.  Mom and Dad took time to record it and are watching it again.

We've been cleaning up the gardens this week and preparing everything for the summer.  I really enjoy working out in the garden area.  It's so full of life.  We even surprised Mother with a couple of peonies yesterday.  They're bright red.  We plan to start them out in pots around the deck.  When we know they're growing well, we'll take some root cuttings and plant them down by the water.

Take care and have a wonderful day.

THanks Barbecured for the feedback, I feel it is not ready as well but am not sure what to fix.  I will look it over again hopefully with fresh eyes.

Dear Berean,

Just stopping by to say hi.  My husband is out the door to work now so this is my time to catch up on things.

I've spent the last few days re-typing some old family letters that my grandmother saved.  I've read them all before while searching for genealogy information, but this time I'm putting them all in chronological order.  They're starting to read almost like a short book.  The earliest note is from 1928 and pertains to my great-great grandmother's death.  They gradually work forward to the mid 1970's when my grandmother passed away.  I'm copying them over so that I can share them on the next CD I make of the family history.  Each year I update things and send the newest information around to everyone.

Have a great day!  Will re-read your post.  Are you really looking to have it critiqued?  Were you wanting to submit it to some publication?

Dear Berean,

Were you referring to the Facebook post?  It's supposed to be in bluish purple.  That's the color that I see when I bring it up.  Perhaps something's gone wrong with the color selection function.

I'll send you a message about it.
