Returning To The Fold
Posted On 04/14/2008 09:08:19
So,
I have now learned that re-baptism is possible.
How do I feel?...relieved, grateful, lowly, ......
I need to stand up and be counted, but when will I move myself?
Maybe I will venture out to church again this coming Sunday, all I need is to be consistant in my endeavour.
Its so much easier to talk the talk, - I need to walk the walk too.
I mustnt look back, I must press forward.
But I know me!!.....procrastination is a hurdle not yet overcome.
How much more fulfilled I will feel, I will be, if I just get myself motivated.
Back to basics.....lets hope that each day I can draw nearer my eternal goal.
I actually knelt in vocal prayer today, and then I let the scriptures open randomly...where did they stop?...
Alma 7:14
Wow!...Heavenly Father is aware of my struggles, my desires. He is actually aware of me!!
I fell  away from the fold some 14 years ago, and now it is time to return.
Bishop is waiting to talk to me, to aid my return to membership.
I pray that I will make the journey and that my righteous desires will continue to provoke positive action.
