Well malo!!!

i guess this will be a 1st for me. not da type to write blogs and all tht jazz but i guess ill give it a go!!!

Im a convert frm "05" (woop woop reprAhznT, lol) and my journey thru the gospel has been awesome, life-changing and dfntly tough!!!

well over the last couple of months things have been hard, tough and emotional!! and all because of my doing!! i have truly learnt and actually still continue to learn the meaning of "suffer the consequences of my actions". Being given the right to govern our own lives is something that i myslf dfntly tke for granted each dae. Agency is dfntly a beautiful and wonderful blessing that the Lord has placed on every single one of us. I can truly say that because of the wrong choices that i have made, i have limited my agency. Elder L Tom. Perry said that: "If we increase our dependence on anything or anyone except the Lord, we will find an immediate decrease in our freedom to act." i jus love this quote nd m8 i am soooooooo a product of what he said, lol!! a decrease in our freedom to act is something tht may seem harmless but man it hits u hard nd is realli quite unpleasant lol!!!

It hit me hard and i wasnt expecting it 2!! i admit tht i wnt thru a period of denial, wea i would say to myself: "i dnt care" or "i will do this jus for now and thn ill repent", well bros and sis, doesnt tht jus sound familliar!?

2 Nephi 28:7-8:"Yea, and there shall be many which shall say: ^aEat, drink, and be merry, for tomorrow we die; and it shall be well with us. And there shall also be many which shall say: ^aEat, drink, and be ^bmerry; nevertheless, fear God—he will ^cjustify in committing a little ^dsin; yea, ^elie a little, take the advantage of one because of his words, dig a ^fpit for thy neighbor; there is ^gno harm in this; and do all these things, for tomorrow we die; and if it so be that we are guilty, God will beat us with a few stripes, and at last we shall be saved in the kingdom of God." dnt u jus love the scriptures!! soooooooo...

.... yup, yup i read these words and thot to meslf, wat on earth am i doing!!! bt evn aftr tht thot of enlightenment, i chose to b stubbron and carry on in my ways!!!

Now i am hea b 4 u, as a child of God whos is slowly, and realli slowly cming bk to the Lords side, nd i am beginning to let our dear Saviour's beautiful gift of Atonement bring that much needed bliss nd peace into my life. sometimes whn i feel tht i cnt turn to n e 1, i knw tht i cn always to turn to our Savior Jesus Christ and our dear Heavenly Father becasue He will never turn me away, He will never turn you away.  Repentance is hard and the saying: "prevention is better than cure" is absolutely true! i learnt tht the key to this saying is, (da da da dum,lol) making right choices!! doing the right thing is always harder thn doing the wrong thing, but the blessings frm right choices comes in its abudance, The Lord wants to bless us, how awesome is tht!!!!!! bt always rmbr tht we are not perfect and the Lord does not expect us to be, He jus wnts us to put in all tht we cn, to become the very best child of God tht we cn b!!! wrng choices, we are bound to make, but instead of wallowing in self-pity, as urz truly did(gosh!!!), see this as a the oppourtunity to learn something new, to grow frm it.

The Gospel is the best thing tht has happend in my lyf and thea is no way tht i cn deny the truth within.

i guess this is it 4 for now, i have to say this is pretti awesome!!! i apologize 4 da samoan/nz slang in this blog, my only excuse for tht is, thts jus how i do!!! haha
