I thank you for the invitation, and would like to say to you that I do speak some Spanish, but don't write well at all! And I'm not familiar with the terms in Spanish used in the Scriptures, but would contribute what I can.

I also would like to ask you if you'd consider making one in Portuguese, and I could help with translation as well as a forum on LDS.net. What are the requirements?

I don't know Spanish, but I do know Portuguese, although I haven't regularly spoken or written in it since I got back from my mission in 1991.

Thanks for the invite Heather.  Although my last name sound Hispanic my nationality is Filipino, as you probably know, a lot of names and last names from the Philippines where I am originally from, originated from Spain.  I can read spanish and understand a little but I am not conversant with it.  Maybe when I get to know the language more.  Thanks again.

Hi Heather. I do speak some spanish but very little. I use to take lessons from the missionaries about 4 yrs ago and retained some of that teaching of the  spanish language but very little. My own ancestory is that of White European, Native American, Sub Sarahan-African,and Middle Eastern. I am what most folks know as Gyspy, Melungeon, or Black Dutch. The hebrew spelling of my name is Amita which means "truth".
