My Savior, My brother, The Son

A vote was cast ……

Their voices were heard …….

You stood to take the blame ………

Not uttering a word ……

 

In shackles to be bound ……..

You follow the crowd …..

Thistles tightly woven ……

Upon your head you were  crowned ……

 

With laughter and mocking …….

Upon the cross you lay ……

As each nail was driven hard …..

So in place they would stay …..

 

These last words  you uttered softly ……

Father forgive them, for they know not what they do ….

You took upon our sins …..

You left us without a clue ………

 

Descended into heaven ……

On the third day you had risen  ……..

You shared with us the gospel …….

To save us all from spiritual prison ……

 

As the years have passed …….

Have we forgotten what you’ve done …..

The gift you have given ….

My  savior, my brother, the son ………

Love's Path


Loves Path

Your kiss so soft and sweet,
Your touch that makes my soul complete.
You whisper ever so softly to me, I pray
My heart does not skip beat and flee.
Our hands clasp tightly together, keeping
Each other warm from the frightful weather.
Hand and hand we stroll not breathing a word,
Our love was felt deeply even though it
was unheard . Laughter and smiles are all that are seen,
like and untold story or dream. We walk down lifes
path not knowing what to expect, only knowing we are in love.

Life holds so many priceless things
The falling rain--the wind that sings
Each star on a high--a big full moon
And sunbeams dancing in your room
The river as it rushes on
A sunset when day is gone
No wealth can buy a mountain tall
These priceless things belong to all
An autumn tree lends beauty rare
With leaves piled deep most everywhere
As nature wears a glowing smile
to make each day a day worthwhile
Could anything be quite as dear
As laughing children that we hear
The gift of friendship that is ours
The miracle of growing flowers
Each magic moment--treasured time
These priceless gifts are yours and mine...

I feel. As each moment, each day..I pray to heal.
