Hello Friends:-)
Well, I just need to share with all of you - my Lds.Net family, that we will be expecting our 8th and 9th grandchildren come this Spring. These grandbabies just keep coming! LOL As many of you know, we just had our 7th grandchild a few months ago... Lilly. These next two grandchildren are due only days apart! Yes. What's a Nana to do? I am hoping that some of you who, perhaps may have had a similar dilemma will share some of your ideas or suggestions on how to handle such a wonderful problem. Here is the link to my latest post over on The LDS GrandParent Place, where I share in more detail just "how" I came to find out this great news. Expectant Grandparents
Come on over and say hello:-)

This is a copy of an email that I just sent out to all of my friends, etc... I have decided to share it with my friends here on LDS.net and request your support as well in defending traditional marriage. I hope you will take the time to read this and join with me in protecting the family. I am confident that if we pull together - we can accomplish great things. LdsNana
To My Friends, of which I consider you all -
As many of you know, leaders of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints have invited members living in California, to do all that [they] can to support the passing of Proposition 8. It is my personal desire to follow this admonition and I am inviting you to join with me in speaking out on this issue...
I am writing to ask each one of you to help me get the word out about the potential affects that the on-going legalization of same-sex marriage will have on all of our children and future posterity. This is a serious issue for those of us who believe that the only definition of marriage is between a man and a woman - and is ordained of God.
This issue does not only affect citizens in California. What happens in California - will not stay in California. This is a subject that should concern all of us and for which we have been asked to expend out very best efforts in behalf.
Those of us who desire to defend traditional marriage must have our voices heard. Not just that we simply support traditional marriage, but the specific reasons that we do so; and for which we are very adamant about! I am a firm believer that education is the key to defending the family right now.
That is why I am writing to you my friends, family and associates. I have written and published online an article on these very important points, and need you now - to come in and show your support by helping to circulate "The Truth About Same-Sex Marriage, Equal Rights and Your Children".
This article is intended to help others understand the critical reasons that we must protect the family, through the defense of traditional marriage. This article also addresses the very distorted parallel that is being drawn between same-sex marriage and issues of racial discrimination. This is not an equal rights issue. Do you understand why?
In order for this article to be seen by as many people as possible, it needs to be read and shared by more people. That is where each of you can help. Currently this article has been read over 500 times, but that is still not enough.
Each one of us are most familiar with how effective "viral" email can be when we want to share something important, funny or interesting with others. Many of us receive from each other - more of these types emails than we can possible count.
I am inviting each one of you to read the article that I have written and email it to your family, friends and associates and then ASK them, to do the SAME!
1. READ THE ARTICLE. "The Truth About Same-Sex Marriage, Equal Rights and Your Children"!
2. Give it a BIG THUMBS UP - and comment if you would like to add your verbal support. Very important if you would be willing to do so.
3. Share it with others by sending it via email and ask them to do the VERY same. You could even include this letter along with the article, OR forward this entire email. You all are certainly familiar with this action:-)
That's it... and you have added your support and voice in defending traditional marriage in a very important way -- Truth. As I said before, educating others is the key to success. Helping other good people understand the seriousness of this issue is how each one of us can be most effective in the defense of marriage.

I think LDS girls absolutely rock! So, I have written an article about LDS girls and what makes you girls so different than other girls in the world today. When I went out on the Internet to search for information about LDS girls - it was pathetic really. I hope to changes that:-) Most of what you will find about LDS girls, has to do with LDS young women. That which is written about LDS young women, seems to focus on YW leaders and not LDS girls themselves. Where do LDS girls go online to receive support for what the Church teaches them, and help in living these standards? I went to YouTube to look and see what kinds of videos I could find on "LDS girls"? Again - pathetic. In fact almost scarry. So here is a shout to you LDS girls that really rock.... I hope that you will start gathering and let more people in the world know who you are:-) Come on over to my Hub and blog about yourselves -- because you are worth talking about. You are a wonderful example to the world of how to follow the Savior. tDMg LdsNana LDS Girls Who Know Who They Are - Know What They Want and Know How To Get It!

Some of you may have heard that a formal letter from The First Presidency has been issued to local members in California. This letter will be read in Sacrament meetings on Sunday. It is a call to arms, for LDS members to stand up and get involved with help in passing an amendmentment to the California Consitution on the November ballot... This is a bold move, but not the first time official leaders of the Church have spoken out on moral issues that affect society. tDMg LdsNana Please come on over and comment, Digg, bookmark, etc... anything you can do to help with this article I just published will be most appreciated.

Modest girls... listen up! By the way, you rock:-) If you girls have been having a difficult time finding a modest one-piece bathing suit, or even a modest tankini - you might want to consider shopping online for your next bathing suit. There are quite a few companies now that are starting to listen to what girls who choose modesty want - and finally they are making modest cloths and bathing suits, that are really really cute. I can't believe how hard it is to find a bathing suit that is modest. It is nearly impossible. Finding one at the mall could take days and days of scouring different stores - just hoping that one will work. I hate that, because you are never really happy with what you end up with. So shopping online for a modest bathing suit is a lot easier, because you know what companies actually are making modest bathing suits. I hope the link to this article, will send you on the right path to finding the most perfect one-piece or tankini bathing suit, that is not only modest, but cute too! tDMg LdsNana

David Archuleta has made every member of the LDS Church proud  to be a Mormon!  Although he did not take home the title of "American idol Season 7" - David Archuleta is a winner to all that have come to know him this season on American Idol. David Archuleta clearly won the competition, when it comes to sheer singing talent.  David is a Star!  Simon Cowell made a last minute apology to DC before Idol announced him as the winner.  Do you think if David Archuleta had won, that apology would have been made?  Just a thought. Clearly all three judges conceded after Tuesday night's finale, that David Archuleta "should" win, if this was based on sheer talent.  But as we all know, anything can happen on American Idol. It was a great season... come on over and check out the wrap-up on my David Archuleta "Mormon" blog! tDMg LdsNana David Archuleta: Mormon On American Idol - Beat The Competition But Lost The Title!
