I have heard much debate on whether sole and/or single parents can/should/are sealed to their children, without being sealed to a spouse.
May we never, any of us, regardless of personal belief, or doctrinal persuasion, be tempted to contend one with another over Doctrinal, Scriptural, Spiritual, or, indeed, any faith-related matters, as that is NOT what the scriptures were given us for, nor what our Heavenly Father, nor our mortal leaders intend for us to do.
BTW I too am a sole parent, not sealed to any of my much-loved children; and some of my children were born out of wedlock, others within an LDS marriage.
However, I am content to live as righteously as I can (and believe me, I often fail miserably, to reach my goals!) and let our loving, all-wise, Omnipotent Father in Heaven take care of matters which are not pertinent to my ultimate salvation, nor that of my children, for I know that in His plan, all things have reason and order and nothing will be left to 'chance' .
I know that our Father in Heaven plans for ALL of His children to be happy, to live as eternal families and that we need only do our part, by living the Gospel to the very best of our individual abilities; for nothing in the great and glorious Plan of Salvation will be withheld from us eternally, without there being a way that these things can be made manifest, in His own time, in His own way, through His own means.
My empathy I give to all of you who have experience as sole parents, as well as to those who may in the future find themselves in this position and who may also question what is in store for their family.
Let not Satan use this type of situation as a wedge to keep you, me, or any one of us, from pursuing the onward, upward, path, holding FAST to the Iron Rod.
To all who read this:
May my love reach you where my words may fail in expressing what my heart and spirit would have you know.

Hello everyone *waving at you all*
I'm back again! I've been doing lots of things like poking a log into my leg a month ago (just had it cut, scooped out, cleaned and stitched yesterday) I had to wait for the infection to clear up and the large hole to begin to heal before the Doctor could do anything more than daily bandages and doses of high calibre antibiotics.
I'm still loving my art classes and producing all sorts of weird and wonderful creations and I still like to make my classmates jump by announcing my presence in a most ladylike manner--- one favourite being the quiet door approach, then yell out "How come it's so quiet in here?" and watch as they all get scraped off the ceiling, or picked up off the floor...
My reptiles are all doing well. Coconut, my adorable snake is over four foot long now and as sweet as ever. My Bearded Dragons have become quite fussy eaters and seem to think that Blueberries are cheap... it's all they want to eat apart from crickets! By the way, blueberries are EXPENSIVE here!
I'm breeding my own rats now as they cost too much to buy (for Coconut to eat). They are yet to produce their first litter. Coconut eats two young rats a week. Yes I freeze them. She eats dead thawed rats. Oh, I hope no one was having their lunch while reading this?!
I think I must be sick. No, I mean REALLY. Irreparably ill in fact. You see, I actually ENJOY reading the Book of Mormon. Come on, admit it --- you can ALL remember a time when you would rather endure torture most horrendous over reading it. So it can only mean one thing. I'm getting old!

I am very pleased that I finally decided to get my Temple Recommend renewed. It has been a long time and a long journey and it hasn't been easy. But it has been worth it.

G'Day and welcome to my lounge. You'll find me flat out like a lizard drinking. I was built for comfort, not for speed. I love the Gospel very much and love church --- pity all the other people have to be there though! I like to have fun and joke around, but I can be serious too--- watch me... Don't even think about saying anything against reptiles, coz they are my family of choice and I love them very much. Did you hear about the floods in Mackay, Queensland? Well, that's where I live and I was very blessed. I only got about four inches of water through my house, but that was enough to ruin some furniture and other items. And yes, it is true that there were actually crocodiles spotted in the streets swimming around in the flooded waters. But we locals didn't worry too much about them, we had other things on our minds! Has anyone here ever heard of MELAS syndrome? Coz that's what I'm dying from. But not yet. Heaven doesn't want me yet and hell is still afraid I'll take over... Come talk to me. I don't bite --- much--- I haven't enough teeth!!! I ride a Motor Cycle that I have named Mr Whippy, because he whips me from here to there faster than walking Check out my photos and give me some feedback.
