I just thought I'd let everyone know about my plan to start uploading the weekly broadcast of "Music and the Spoken Word" on Youtube. I have to look into the details of how to save the live web cast, so if any of you know a great video screen capture program please let me know. My Youtube account name is, DigitalDreamCaster, and I'll try updating my page here with a new musical number each week too. I hope you all will enjoy and that I can be diligent in making the weekly updates!

I just wanted to wish everyone a beautiful and spiritual Easter Sunday. Rather than include my own ramblings I am choosing to share the words of our late, beloved prophet: President Gordon B. Hinckley“I know that I am not the head of this Church. The Lord Jesus Christ is its head. My mission, my chief responsibility, my greatest honor comes in bearing solemn testimony of His living reality. Jesus Christ is the Son of God, who condescended to come into this world of misery, struggle, and pain, to touch men’s hearts for good, to teach the way of eternal life, and to give Himself as a sacrifice for the sins of all mankind. He is ‘King of Kings and Lord of Lords, and He shall reign forever and ever’ (Handel’s Messiah). … I bear solemn witness that He lives and stands on the right hand of His Father.†I know that these words are true and it is my hope we can all feel the special spirit that tomorrow can/should bring.
I hereby commence my campaign for some balance on my friends list. I love to see and meet new wonderful people, and those of you who are on my list, thanks :) But a mans gotta have another dude around once in a while. Right guys? lol
I've been real sick for the past day or so, which has given me time off to think. It might help if I didn't have a brain scrambling temperature, but at least I'm reminded that we are valnerable to physical trials at times. It has been refreshing to see the positive feedback from those I communicate with for work. I think most of us understand the importance of being reliable, but sometimes we would just being doing more harm than good. If I've learned anything it's been to be more forgiving and understanding of what others might be going through. Now I know in business there comes a time when you have to be firm, but it's nice to be reasured when you really are struggling to do your best.
So I've been rolling an idea around in my head in response to Heathers call for LDS photos. Since I am a photographer I took this as a personal calling to use my talents. My idea is to organize a nationwide trip to shadow missionaries from different states. My ultimate goal would be to provide a wonderful black&white photo journal of their daily lives, as well as include personal testimonies from each pair. I was hoping I could somehow get Deseret Books to publish and help market the sales of the book. I believe this would be a wonderful insight into their lives and inspire personal missionary work for the rest of us. The challenge of course is coming up with the funds to take on such a project. I realize I could claim some expenses on my taxes, but not all of them. It's all the up front cash that would continue thwarting me from going ahead with the planning process. While I'll not forget, neither give up on this project, I'm not sure when it will get off the ground. If it does I'd like to submit updates along the way in the form of photos for the community to comment on.
