Hello Mommabear,

My wife and I are homeschooling parents too.  I just wanted to say hello and thanks for sharing a little on you page.

Hi Daune...

Nice to meet you, too!  Amazing - about your daughter!  Just goes to show you that no one, here on this Earth, can tell you when you will die.  I'll never forget during my daughter's first illness, they spent more time trying to convince us to let her go than they did trying to provide the best care for her.  It was awful...but she pulled through then...and has again and again.  There is so much we can learn from these special kids...they are such a blessing!  I'm glad you had your daughter for 10 years, and I'm sure she still lives with you, guiding you - just in a different way!

I love Elvis' movie "Blue Hawaii" - always have, since I was a kid.  In fact, I had The Hawaiin Wedding Song played at my wedding.  Too bad Elvis wasn't alive to sing it himself (like he would have, really, right?  lol)  *sniff*  *sniff*

Take care, Kim

Hi, Kim...just got home.  My niece is visiting from Utah, so we all went out to a Chinese Buffet tonight...25 of us!!!  LOL

Steffi was a joy and a blessing in our life.  She had the most loving and happy spirit, even through all the operations and hospital stays.  She taught us so much.  NEVER listen to Dr.s about quality or length of life...they cannot know what Heavenly Father's plan is, for us!

My whole family knows that at my funeral, they had better play some Elvis...Amazing Grace, especially!!!  LOL...

Great talking to you...Daune... (pronounced DAWN, in case you didn't know...)

I LOVE Elvis...played his albums (not dating myself too much here, huh?) and cried the whole day he died.

Me, too.  Lovelovelove Elvis!  I really like your avatar.  I had a daughter born with Spinal Biffita and Hydro Cephalis.(sp?)  She had the worst case of both, that the Dr.s had ever seen.  In fact, they advised my husband to tell me the child had died...they were so sure she would die shortly after birth.  She lived 10 years!

Clan of the Cave Bear...Love it.    Nice meeting you...Daune
