I've seen the Specials many a time! The last time it was with Cherry Poppin' Daddy's... and, hey!! Do you like any of the latin ska? Like King Chango? They're my fave NYC ska band besides The Toasters...remember them?! and yeah....almost exactly one decade too late!! hee hee

tee hee...i'm still giggling at Turntablism! that's totally awesome with a capital SOME!! I like Peter Tosh and Bob Marley, too....the were the first wave of Ska I'm especially fond of DK and that old late 70's early 80's punk. Do you ever listen to TSOL? I've seen them in concert many times in my youth...now that I'm an old lady I just live in the Two Tone era instead of in the now... :) welcome to the site!
