I was just enjoying your thread "Disbelieving the Scriptures" and I absolutely LOVE your way of thinking. I think that you are a true Disciple of Christ, being a long-time Christian but new convert to LDS I always come across things in scriptures that contradict one another, or things in presented as church history that I understand are not accurate. None of these things affect my faith that this is the true church of Jesus Christ, but often when I try to discuss these things I get the fingers in the ears responce, and more often than not find that members who have been there their entire life are unaware of certain things. Things such as Joseph Smith shooting some of his attackers in Carthage Jail I find most LDS are unaware of, which saddens me. The truth is never a bad thing for me and I don't understand why certain things are washed over leaving me feeling betrayed when I discover the truth.
