Life
Posted On 04/11/2009 08:53:55

Life is just plain hard, harder for some then others, but I find beauty in the some things of everyday life, thoughts and images that come into my mind, they come in unvited and leave unvited. In fact if one watches his mind they will notice that feelings and thoughts come and go, much like clouds coming across a valley, they come and they go, our mind thoughts are not who we are, take time to honor our brothers and sisters, and our Heavenly Father. Have a great weekend.

Just as got home I got a call from another member asking if I would go out with him to visit two elderly widows from our Branch. The ladies were very  happy to talk and share what they have been doing with us. I was thrilled, it was high light of the day. Good feelings all the way around. The more I walk the Mormon walk and follow what the church suggest we do the happier I am. What a fine Wednesday evening we all had!

Tonight we shared the gospel with a 66 year old who drinks and smokes, this was the second visit for me. He attended church last Sunday.I asked him what he felt and thought be at the service, he like the feeling of families and the babies, also mention that he felt renewed. Yes he has habits that are slowly killing him off. He seems interested in hearing about the gospel. Tonight we shared with him the plan of salvation. I wonder where this will lead. For myself I am just following the Holy Spirit's promptings. He and the sisters are coming over for dinner this Friday and we have another lesson planned on Saturday. I am so blessed to be able to help out.

The children Of Adam are Limbs of one body
Having been created of one essence.
When the calamity of time afflicts one limb
The other limbs cannot remain at rest.
If you have no sympathy for the troubles of others
You are not worthy to be called by the name of "man"

Even after all this time,
The sun never says to the earth, "you owe me. "
Look what happens with a Love like that!

Let's us make time to visit the elderly at the rest homes especially now during winter and Christmas time. They do so love the human touch and connection. If we do this you will know what a good feeling you get when you go and visit them and the blessings will come down from our Heavenly Father to us and the our Brother and Sisters

When does one become a senior member? Is it time being inside the LDS.net or how much you have to say?
