Legacy
Posted On: 04/20/2007 03:48:40
A Legacy is defined as something handed down from an ancestor or a predecessor or from the past.
"What you leave behind is not what is engraved in stone monuments, but what is woven into the lives of others."
I have often wondered about the word Legacy and what it means? what type of a legacy have people left? and most of all, what type of one I will leave behind?

All throughout history, we have seen great men and women leave a legacy of all types and have all contributed to make the world as it is today. A legacy of peace. A legacy of compassion. A legacy of Love in some cases. The most important Legacy for all of us as members, is the Legacy left by our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ and the Prophet Joseph Smith. What a place this world and the worlds after this, be like if it weren't for them.

The question I put to you is, What kind of a Legacy would you like to leave?

This is my first bloggy here after like 2 years being here biggrin.gif

I hope I have passed down the legacy of being kind to all, not just the popular; and being kind when no one else will ever know you were... unsure.dontknow.gif

First things first.... Congrats on your first blog entry laugh.gif
What took you so long? wink.gif

That is a very interesting question that you have asked...

This has become very important to me over the last, say um 3 plus months biggrin.gif

The legacy that I hope to leave behing for my little one would be one of being a member of the church.
Also that of being both a South African as well as Swiss ancestry - just this would open so many doors for him smile.gif
