Day 10
Posted On: 01/21/2008 21:04:11

So my first blog post over here.  Hmmm.  Well, in case you didn't read my intro about me page, my name is Meg.

You're asking "What does Day 10 mean"?  Oh, you're not?  Well, I'm going to tell you anyway.  Today is Day 10 of no alcohol, no soda, no caffeine (with the exception of my medication), no preprocessed foods and no sweets.  Okay, so this all started with my waistline, but it's gotta start somewhere, huh?

I've spent the better part of the last 29 years looking for something.  Religion, faith and myself, all rolled into one extremely long search.  I was raised Roman Catholic (fathers religion), my mother was Baptist and Christian Scientist, I went to a Brethern school after the 5th grade, and my friends were all Jewish, Hindi or Buddhist... I say I was raised confused, as anyone would be.

My search has left me even more confused then I started, more unanswered questions and still no true belief system.

So, I'm trying a new approach.  I'm cleaning up my life and I'm trying to look at things with a better eye.  After all, who doesn't want to go to heaven (assuming there is a heaven) (there is a heaven isn't there?) (that was a joke).

Well, off to bed.
