Thankyou for your question Mahdi.  I agree with maidservant.  And I will add this.  Love is commitment.  With our love for Christ and his words, we will commit and do his  words.  With our love for our husband or wife, we will commit to them and love no other.  With our love for our children, we will commit to them and teach them and guide their actions for all of our life.  Love is commitment.

This is nice for you to have a blog, Mahdi. Welcome!

And -- good question: what is love?

I think it may take a life time to find out what Love really is. smile.gif

And it depends on what kind of love -- loving God? loving your children? loving your neighbor? loving a husband or wife?

But all kinds of love, if it is real love, will have a few things in common. I think one of the main elements of love is that a person will serve who he or she loves. They will help them. They will think of them more than their own self. Love is hard work! smile.gif

Talk to you later
