Rejection
Posted On: 08/06/2008 18:00:01

I've been rejected for a few jobs lately... it's kinda drepressing.

REJECTION #1

Hi,

Thank you so much for your interest.  Unfortunately we already have child care sorted at this time.

Good luck in the future.

Thanks,

REJECTION #2

Sorry Dana,

I didn’t realize that you would still be interested in the position with a possible start date of January. Please go ahead and continue to look for another job.We would definitely still like you to watch the kids from time to time and we’ll see if things match up when I’m ready to go back to work.

Not really a rejection... but I got the idea...

REJECTION #3

 Hello Dana

Thank you for your e-mails.  The position we are looking to fill is full time and while ECE is not a requirement, we would be looking for someone with ECE or some comparable experience for the regular full-day care of our children. If you would be interested, however, in providing care as an occasional sitter from time to time when you move to Burlington, please let me know and we would be pleased to set up a time to meet you

REJECTION #4

Hi Dana,

I believe we have found someone for the position.  I want to thank you for your response to all my questions and I will keep your e-mail address on the chance that something doesn't work out.  Thank you and good luck.

So, Anyone need a nanny? :)

I hope,  that I will find a Nanny job soon!

Hmm, it feels good to write things down!

Dana,

Don't give up! Your job is out there but it may not be time for you to have it yet. I actually had to be on unemployment for a whole year before I found a job in my area. Have you asked the members of your church if they need you? They may be too humble to ask. You might could even work in a day care center.

Pray and trust that you will find what you seek.

Good luck!!

I'm sorry, but when I read that, the first thing that popped into my head was a line from GTA3's Chatterbox FM. :)

If you're having trouble finding a job as a nanny, try looking elsewhere. I'm sure you have or can learn some other usefull skills to put your entrepreneurial zeal to good use :)

Hi PinkCow

I went through a period of time a couple of years ago where I just got rejection letter after rejection letter. During that period (about 6 months in total) I was really low, but about two months in a friend of mine became interested in the Church. I spent the majority of the time helping her out, letting her use my home to have the missionaries over etc, answering her questions and dragging her to enrichment events during the day.

I didn't realise it at the time, but looking back Heavenly Father had something more important for me to do at that time. I felt as if He was trying to teach me patience, and perhaps He was, but He also made sure I was in the right place at the right time for my friend.

I know that things aren't easy but one day you will be able to look back and understand why this has happened.

Take care

X
