"Because I have been given much, I too must give;

Because of thy great bounty, Lord, each day I live

I shall divide my gifts from thee With every brother that I see

Who has the need of help from me."

I believe these words.  I know that I am blessed; that I want for nothing.  I have the Gospel of Jesus Christ in my life.  I have the basics, and more, to sustain me and mine.  But that is not enough.  To truly follow the example of Christ, we have to help our fellow brothers and sisters.  To see someone in need, and to pass them by, is, to me, to deny what our Savior stood for.  His whole life was for US; helping and serving others.  How can we not do the same?  I would rather die with nothing, knowing that along the way, I had given and done for others, than to die with much, having shared with none.
