The Man of My Life
Posted On: 03/14/2008 23:04:03

I owe so much to this site and the people in it. I have made so many friends and even met the love of my life here. It has been so neat to see the bond develop between Ex and my oldest daughter, as he calls her Lilli--bit. She really likes him and he is accepting of both of my girls. He calls my youngest pint-size or dancing queen. She calls him Lylo. My oldest has a dance competition on Saturday and hopefully she places well.

I am so grateful to all the people I have met here for allowing me to become more outgoing. I didnt' used to be that way. I love it here.

                                  Peace and love

Well, hello there Mormon gurl,

This is ex's internet Mom, and I have to tell you how ecstatic I am that he has met the love of his life, because I love him as if he were really my own son.

I met ex the first day he was on the site, and he was so sweet to talk to this old lady for two to three hours. I immediately knew he was authentic, sincere, intelligent and, dang it, funnier than a pig in mud!

I sort of fell in love with him myself, but don't worry. It was the kind of affection you have for someone you have just met and you immediately know you have just met a genuine friend. A friend who has been through hell, and is still hurting, but a friend who was also interested in me, my life, and my pain.

Additionally, he has always made this old lady feel special and I think it demonstrates his character that he treats me as much of a friend as anyone else.
The one attribute ex has that I appreciate the most is his kindness. Ex exudes kindness. In my opinion, after having live to a ripe 52 years, much of if painful, kindness means everything. Kindness, and of course, his cowboy humor!

So, you have fallen in love with, in my opinion, one of the best human beings on the planet. Therefore, you must be an incredible person yourself, and I would very much like to get to know you as well. Anyone who makes my "son" happy is automatically my "daughter," by default.
Don't worry. I am not your mother-in-law. I just play one on the board.

Anyway, I would be very happy to get to know you, and I thank you so much for making my "son" so happy.
