my mommy
Posted On: 07/08/2008 21:23:38

hey everybody! i spoke to my sister and my mom and the results of the tests are promising. the valves of her heart look good...as do her lungs. she does have a thickened wall (?) though that is making it so that she's not able to use her heart to it's fullest capacity. the remedies for this are a pacemaker or a surgery where they go in and remove part of that thickened muscle so her heart can function properly. the good news is, she isn't to either place yet. :) they're going to adjust some meds she's on to see if that helps. the meds, ironically, are to help with her heart rhythm. haha! we tell her she's got no rhythm cuz she's white. it took her a while to think that was funny... but i thought it was hilarious the first time. anyway..that's it! okay..i'm off to bed. 'night ya'll!
