Wow--we had so much fun making the cupcakes that are now shown in my photo gallery. We liked them so much that we submitted them to Rachael Ray's show. :O) Keziah and I spent about an hour making and decorating these. We had gone shopping at an Amish store near us and found the dried decorator marshmallows (ones like are found in Lucky Charms cereal) and bought a large bag (about 0.5 lbs). They were so cute and irresistable! We weren't sure what we were going to do with them; but we knew we would find something. We were getting ready for a FHE shared with another family and it hit us---SPRING! We had to make spring cupcakes. We got out the liners, mixed up a golden cake batter, poured it into the liners with a lump of dark chocolate dropped in on top. After they baked, we dipped them into a soft chocolate icing and went wild decorating. Some we just rolled in the marshmallows and others we place the decos on with care. Sprinkles gave the final flourish and voile! What a blast--the kids went nuts over them--not even wanting to wait until after supper. I am not sure who had more fun--the eaters or the decorators. :O) A sweet spirit pervaded our home as well as sweet smells. kmb

I guess I should not have put an age limit on the singles group, but I am not sure how to change it now that it is posted. So with that said: come one, come all to the only singles group on LDS.net. All ages welcome, honest exchanges requested. It can be hard being single in this church of FAMILIES--even when you are part of a family. Having five kids of my own, it is still challenging to find friends to hang out with in the ward confines, so I thought this would be a great way of making friends world-wide who can support and uplift one another. Please come and join as well as inviting your friends to join. Hugs- Karen
