Thanks so much for all these wonderful opinions. I have decided that I don't really believe that the Gospel of Judas and Thomas or whatever else they found, is something of importantance.. But I loved all the opinions and all the wisdom.

The Lost Gospels (Judas)
Posted On 09/17/2008 15:55:57

I'm watching National Geographic... and Its the "Lost Gospel of Judas" ... Now this is the first I have heard about this... I would like to present this to the Church, and all my friends. I have a heavy heart in my chest. Should I believe that Jesus told Judas to turn him in? why didn't he just go to them? I don't understand... Anyone have any idea about this? Or was it like the Bible says, and he betrayed Christ? I know that the Bible was tainted ... But I wonder what the truth is... I love God, and Christ, and the Holy Ghost, and also, I have forgiveness for everyone in the world...I just would like to know the truth... of course I might have to wait until the afterlife to really know... blah... Well, I guess this makes a good conversation. confusion... I know noone on here can tell me the truth but, Maybe someone can tell me what the Church thinks of this, I will ask my Bishop... but I'm wondering... if the Church has gone over it yet... I put in a request for it on the website... LDS.ORG
