Hi again!  My husband and I were Single Adult Reps for our ward a few years back and had a lot of socials at our house.  We made it a place where singles could come and just feel unthreatened to get to know each other.  We played games, watched movies and BBQed.  Now we are working with the YSA's and that is what we do only they are a different age bracket.  What kind of tips are you looking for regarding the program?

Hi, Welcome to the site!  I love your sense of humour :)

I just read your 'My Personal Beliefs' blog above and found it really interesting...

I hope you manage to get what you want from the church again..

Hi pushka, Thank you. I like my sense of humour too. It fits me well. Except when ive put it in the wash. Then it goes all baggy.

The thing is, this time im at church for Heavenly Father. The last time i was looking for, i suppose, almost a family, But finding that they had faults, just like me, made me react in a bad way. This time im there for the right reason and wont expect to much from people. They are my brothers and sisters in Christ. Even if they dont like it.

Thaks for the comment on my profile. I have quite a file of pictures for avatars. This one made me laugh when I saw it. I used to have a kitten similar to this one- lost him when he was 6 months old though. I was hanging laundry outside and he was chasing dragonflies, I went in the house and got sidetracked by the phone. Three hours later I took the last loan of laundry out and I couldn't find cloud. Either a hawk or a raccoon got him!

From then on, all the cats I got were never allowed outside. I was so tired of raising kittens, falling in love with them, and then losing them to the predators outside: hawks, raccoons, feral dogs, etc. We had bears roaming around the area too- but I really don't think bears will eat domestic cat. I had blamed the Bob Cat that lived on my property- but I have since been told that Bob Cats don't mess with domestic cats, not when there are plenty of other food for them. We had beaver, field mice,(they are huge by the way), wood rats and raccoons.

I keep taking pictures of my two cats, Fred & Ethel, but the pictures come out so dark! When they aren't dark they are out of focus. Our digital camera is square and small- it is awkward for me to hold. The cam I have for my computer makes the pics of the cats turn out in dark sepia tones! The pics I want to take are of the cats piled on Husbands hip when Husband is fast asleep in bed. Only I can't take them because Husband is only wearing his Garmies!

I keep snapping away though. One of these days I will get some good ones. The law of averages says it is so

Okay...I've now done the 2 quizzes, and love the site..how do I copy/paste the text into my profile? I think I'll do more of those quizzes, they're fun! :)

I just copied the text box they offered into my profile boxes ("about me") that seemed the most appropriate.

Hugs-
