Default HeY eVeRyBoDy!

my name is shirleen, just few weeks ago i joined this beautiful site ! I sort of had enough of bebo lol but ive already made some new freinds so i just would like to thank you for stopping by and leaving nice messages i really appreciate! And welcome any 1 else to visit !!

Wel i was born in american samoa but moved to western samoa at 3yrs where i was introduced into the gospel by my great grandmother.

When i turned 5 she enrolled me into church college ,and i guess it was easier for me to get in coz she was a full time worker in the temple.

I have alot of wonderful memories of life there ..it was great and i couldnt be any happier ..till oneday my mother showed up and decided to bring me to nz hoping for a better future for me..so i came to nz and to my great surprise was a total nightmare! My grandparents were now my caregivers and were extremely strict and gave me no choice but to go to their church .

For years i grew up depressed and unhappy not knowing if i was ever going to find the church i found truth and happiness in. There was even a time where i became suicidal and just wantd to leave because it just seemd like i was never going to get out!! But the one thing that kept me together was the faith i had in God and even though i would cry every night i never cease to pray and i guess every new day i would wake up with hope and trust that the lord had heard me and was preparing a way for me to find my way back..and so after years of endurance that day finally came it was when i met my husbund who too was in search of finding a way to get back on track so we both worked really hard and did everything that we needed to do to get back and stay on the straite and narrow path..
And now we are both sealed to our 2 beautiful children and both have wonderful callings in the church. I sometimes look bk and laugh about how long i would sit there by the window of my prison cell bedroom and just look up into the sky and just imagine that i was still in samoa and just pretend that my great grandmother was just working in the temple .....Until i hear my nana yelling for me to scrub the bathtub..

I can honestly testify that the power of prayer is real and that our father does hear us and knows exactly what it is that we need and i believe that he prepares and uses people as instruments to help us overcome the fear that we sometimes have and i know that by choosing to follow our saviour jesus christ will bring so much peace and happiness that u will only know of if you are willing to be a true follower and i beleive it is a privilege to be a memeber of the church of jesus christ and i pray for any one who is here to find answers or find hope and truth that he will reveal it to you so you too may qualify for the privileges you'll need to prepare you for eternal life.

Thankyou for your time may the good Lord bless your eyes that you may find what it is that your looking for on this site)
