"Truly understood and properly practiced, faith is one of the grand and glorious powers of eternity. It is a force powerful beyond our comprehension. “Through faith … the worlds were framed by the word of God.” Through faith, waters are parted, the sick healed, the wicked silenced, and salvation made possible. Our faith is the foundation upon which all our spiritual lives rest. It should be the most important resource of our lives. Faith is not so much something we believe; faith is something we live."
--Joseph B. Wirthlin, "Shall He Find Faith on the Earth?", Ensign November 2002, 82

Hi Tony, I am glad to meet you. Yes you can definately add me to your friends list!  I know I made my share of foolish mistakes in life, but I learned from them.  Everyone has times when they make mistakes or do something silly or stupid, but it is how you handle your life that makes all the difference.  There are dark times, storms, accidents, suffering, and death, but when it all comes down to the line, you are never alone, nor ever will be.  I have seen all kinds of things in life, and met all kinds of people both good and bad.  I have known people whos spirit just shines in their eyes, their countenance bright with the faith, and I have met people too, that to look at their eyes, all you see is hatred, anger, and someone who has sunk so far, that they feel there is no return.  When it all comes down to the final day, whether or no you find someone during your life, you will be watched over so long as you do and obey the commandments that the good lord gives.  I think you will be one of the ones who will find someone special though if you hold out and keep doing the right things.
Never be afraid to stand up and do or say the right thing too.  Things work out so much better if you do.  Never lower your standards or sights either when it comes to finding just the right guy too.  It is better to wait for the solid gold in life, than to fight with the ones who are not in tune or not even on the right path.  You are wise to do as your mom says too, and find someone who is a true friend, one who will love you, respect you, lift you up when you are down, and work alongside you.  That is what true friends do.  I have passed through the halls of nightmare and kept my sights firmly on the one little light at the end of the tunnel. I always will keep my eyes on that light.  The purest light out there of all, the Savior.  Someday when all is said and done, I hope to be able to greet him and be one of those chosen who are there celebrating at his return.  I do not know what the future holds, but I do know that it will be interesting to see what happens.  Best of blessings and hang in there,
Maraleh
